A few weeks ago, I put out a call to my IG community asking them the following question:

The responses came pouring in. And sadly, I wasn’t surprised by how rude and inappropriate the submitted comments were…

It seems the whole world feels entitled to comment on (and critique) women’s postpartum bodies—but it’s not just postpartum bodies, oh no! The world feels entitled to judge pregnant bodies, too! How fun for us! We get to be solely responsible for growing and birthing another human being AND we get to be judged for how we look during this magical and transformative process! KEWL!

To anyone who doesn’t believe that women’s bodies are more policed than men’s (I’m talking to you, every single dude who commented on this post last year), here are 14 of the “best” [and by “best” I mean ABSOLUTE WORST] responses I received when I asked my followers the above question…
