Our 4 year old, Teddy, is like a grumpy old man in a preschooler’s body. He doesn’t want to do anything except exactly what he wants to do. And what does he want to do, you ask? Play dinos + animals on the floor and read Who Would Win? books. Eat all of the fruit. Have people (ME) watch him act out battles between his dinos + animals and guess who is going to win each battle (whoever I guess is always the L7 LOSER).
If you ask him to do anything but the aforementioned activities—or try to tell him he can’t do one of these activities—you can expect to come face-to-face with an irrational, grumpy old man.
